This bench gives pride of place to natural materials and hand-crafted techniques. Both refined and modern, the Pal bench transposes in a new context the traditional techniques of rattan canework. The line of rattan weave which forms the seat is a delicate motif which plays on transparency. The stool’s structure is made of oak, a tactile, warm material. The Pal stool stands out with the original position of its legs, which are fixed to the outer edge of the seat. As a result, the silhouette of the bench is lightweight, almost floating.
